AutoCheck

Vehicle Emissions Program by the Pollution Prevention Partnership and the Port of Corpus Christi

Auto Check
Port CorpusChristi logoAutoCheck is a free program, open to the public.  We quickly measures pollutants from vehicles. AutoCheck makes it easy! Just come to any AutoCheck event, you don't even need to get out of your car.

In minutes, you can find out if your vehicle is running clean or is emitting pollutants that can cost you money and maybe even affect the health of you and your family. Qualifying vehicles may be eligible for free repairs that will improve the emissions and the efficiency of your vehicle. We also issue vouchers for free gas caps to replace yours if it fails.

If your "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light is on, this could be related to emissions control systems.  There are hundreds of problem codes. Any one or more of them can trigger a light. If your light is on, we can read the codes for most vehicles and let you know what they are. Some codes and vehicles qualify for  free repairs to reduce emissions problems.
