Vehicle Emissions Program by the Pollution Prevention Partnership
AutoCheck is a FREE and open to the public program that quickly measures pollutants from vehicles.
In seconds, you can find out if your vehicle is running clean or is emitting pollutants that can cost you money and maybe even affect the health of you and your family. Qualifying vehicles may be eligible for free repairs that will improve the emissions and the efficiency of your vehicle.
AutoCheck makes it easy! Just come to any AutoCheck event, have your emissions tested and within minutes find out about the health of your vehicle. You don't even need to get out of your car. lf your vehicle is determined to be polluting, you may qualify for a voucher to have it repaired at no charge!
AutoCheck events are held on the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi campus and throughout the Corpus Christi area. Check our calendar for events. On location look for the AutoCheck signs and van!
AutoCheck is run by the Pollution Prevention Partnership which is supported by the Port of Corpus Christi. Repairs are paid for with penalty monies from a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality enforcement action.
